THE big bikes are back at Morgan Park Raceway this weekend.
After a successful super sprints meeting at Morgan Park last weekend, it will be the Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland at the raceway this weekend and then the Historic Racing Car Club of Queensland next week.
There will be 150 bikes on the track at Morgan Park this weekend. The field will include 30 superbikes forming a Formula 1 grid.
Some of the young riders in action this weekend will have dreams of competing overseas one day as professional riders. Racing from 7am today and tomorrow, admission free.
A WEEK from today, we will be starting our busiest weekend of the year in horse power sports so far.
There will be a bracket meeting at Warwick Dragway on February 17, the first of four rounds being sponsored by Texas-based DAS Contracting.
The annual St Mary's School Race Day will be at Allman Park today week.
The Warwick Karting Club will have round 1 of its championships on February 18 at Sandy Creek Raceway.
There will be two days of TTT action next weekend at Morgan Park Raceway. The TTT stands for try, train and test.
The historic drivers will have some sprints next Sunday and then return to Warwick on May 5-6 for the Autumn Historic Warwick meeting. The biggest event of the season for the historic drivers will be Historic Queensland on July 14-15.
