Itty Bitty addition to Leslie Park markets
WARWICK'S newest market will continue on the success of last year when it returns to Leslie Park tomorrow.
The first Warwick Uber Markets of the new year will feature some new additions that will be sure to please families.
Kim's Itty Bitty Mobile Animal Farm from Mt Sylvia will give children the chance to get up close and personal with some cute baby animals.
Owner Kim Calver said she hopes to be a regular at the monthly markets.
"We've got baby goats, lambs, chickens, ducks, mini pigs we breed on our family farm and rescue kittens too," she said.
"We will have a 'cuddle corner' for the kids to sit down and cuddle some baby animals."
Mrs Calver has taken her travelling petting zoo to Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts but this will be the first appearance at the Uber markets.
Since the markets began last year it has grown from 50 stalls to close to 100.
There will be a variety of children's activities on offer for a gold-coin donation, such as face painting, the bungee run and jumping castle.
Market organiser Christie Russell said she was pleased with how the markets were progressing.
"We are really excited to have the first market of the new year," she said.
The Uber Markets are held in Leslie Park on the second Saturday of each month.
