The 160 new parking spots will ease congestion in the existing carpark according to Rose City Shoppingworld marketing manager Louise de Lissa.

"During peak times it can be hard to find a spot down there," she said.

"This new underground carpark is going to add a whole new level of ease and convenience for shoppers."

The new ramp off Fitzroy St is accessible to westbound traffic only.

Traffic controllers will be in attendance on Monday to assist motorists navigate the new additions to the development.

Once in the new carpark, all traffic must exit through to the Guy St exit.

Mrs de Lissa said opening the new entrance will help orient shoppers prior to the opening of Coles on April 7.

"This is a very exciting step in the development," she said.

"It's going to open up that whole area, and introduce the shoppers to the speciality stores in the area, as well as the new stores that are on the way.

"Within a few weeks of Coles opening their doors, the cafe on Fitzroy St will open, as well as the three other new shops in that area.

"One new shop has a fantastic space, and it's something we don't have in Warwick, which is going to be great."

Coles will have in-store activities and the whole centre will enjoy a carnival atmosphere all day. The Bread Factory is set to open on March 26 and the barber shop is getting closer with shop fit-out happening currently.

Two more vacant stores in the centre will be filled in the next month as well, with tenants confirmed.

Mrs de Lissa said the new mall will be the setting for school holidays activities.

"The Warwick Potters are coming in to run classes, it's going to be a lot of fun."
