PROGRAM: See what the Broncos are doing in town and when

JUNIORS from right across the Warwick and District Junior Rugby League area are welcome to meet some of the current and future stars of the NRL at a coaching clinic at the junior rugby league grounds in Warwick on Saturday.

The name 'Baby Broncos' is sometimes used to describe the club's NRL team when State of Origin commitments kick in, and using the same words would not be out of place for the game at 6pm between Brisbane and Souths Logan Magpies at Father Ranger Oval.

One of the Broncos players to watch is prop Patrick Mago who played 12 games last season in the top grade. There are five players with NRL experience in the Broncos team for Warwick on Saturday.

Year after year, the Broncos attracted the biggest crowds in the NRL.

But before some well-known players hit the field, there will be children's coaching clinics with the game players and some high-profile Broncos who will be in Warwick for the weekend.

Children will be divided into groups from 11am to 1pm.

Each age group for boys and girls up to under-12 will be catered for on the day and girls of all ages are welcome.

The Warwick and District Junior Rugby League is keen on starting girls tackle this season in addition to the continuation of some leaguetag.

Some of the first instruction on tackling for the girls will be at the junior clinics.

The first event of the weekend is the Friday night Sportsman's Dinner.

Broncos media manager Trad McLean will interview coach Anthony Seibold and players Andrew McCullough, Tevita Pangai Jnr and Matthew Lodge.

While tickets can be paid for on Friday, Warwick Cowboys officials want dinner bookings as soon as possible.
