GATTON turned the tables on Valleys in the reserve grade qualifying final, downing the Roosters 34-18.

Valleys secured the minor premiership in the final round of the regular season with a two-point defeat of Gatton, and two first-half tries to Sam Cocker had them in good stead.

The Hawks fought back however, taking a 14-12 lead into the break, including a superb solo effort from Dean Bichel that saw the centre run 60m and past multiple defenders to touch down.

Captain Daniel Bain gave Valleys the lead again, before Bichel picked up four tries, and other Hawks chipped in to book their spot in the grand final.

GOONDIWINDI ensured it will have two sides with grand final aspirations after their reserve grade side defeated Wattles 34-12.

Josh Keoller relished the drop back in grade, finishing the afternoon with a hat-trick of tries in the dominant victory.

Wattles remained in the contest approaching the break with a try to Michael Duggan, but the Boars put the game beyond doubt, opening up a 16-point lead inside 10 minutes of the second half.

FOUR unanswered tries has lifted Dalby to a grand final berth following a 24-20 defeat of Southern Suburbs.

The Tigers led 10-0 throughout the early stages of the contest, before the Diehards went on a run that the minor premiers couldn't match, as Dalby raced away to a 24-10 advantage.

Two late Tigers tries kept things interesting and helped them get back to within four-points inside the final seven minutes, but they were unable to narrow the gap.

A STRONG second-half has guided Gatton to a narrow victory over Highfields in a gruelling U18s elimination final.

Both sides threw plenty at each other early, as Gatton clung onto a tight 10-8 advantage at half-time.

Following on from the break, the Hawks went into another gear as they looked to keep their season alive, which saw them prevail 28-24 on the back of three second-half tries.

Outside back Henry Adler finished with a double for the Eagles as their season came to a close.

NEWTOWN has become the first side to book its spot in the second division decider after a comprehensive victory over Gatton.

The Bluebags led from the outset at Gold Park, crossing in the opening three minutes, with the minor premiers never giving their opposition a chance to get into the game.

GOONDIWINDI made it successive victories with its season on the line, downing Stanthorpe 22-10 in the elimination final.

The Boars started the contest strongly, racing out to a 16-0 advantage at the break, and scoring just minutes into the second half to put the result beyond any doubt.
