One lane closed on highway after truck rollover

UPDATE 1pm: One lane of the Cunningham Highway is closed after a B-double rolled over about 6am this morning.

A 47-year-old man pulled himself out of the vehicle after the crash at Thane.

He was transported to Warwick Hospital with minor injuries for observation.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said one fire crew remained at the scene and were waiting for a hazmat team to assist with dangerous goods.

Leyburn Police Senior Constable Matt Swan said the truck was travelling east towards Warwick when it left the road and rolled onto its side.

"Traffic management has also been put in place with Cunningham Highway down to one lane to ensure the safety of members of the public and emergency services," Sen-Constable Swan said.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.

It is unknown at this stage what time the highway will be fully reopened.

INITIAL 7am: A man has been rushed to Warwick Hospital after pulling himself out of his crashed truck on the Cunningham Highway this morning.

Paramedics attended the crash near Karara, where a truck rolled over at 6.11am today.

The man suffered abdominal pain and was taken to Warwick Hospital for further treatment.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said he was in a stable condition.
