Two cars collide after driver fails to give way

A CRASH occurred in Warwick early this morning after a driver failed to give way at a CBD intersection.

Warwick Police said at 8.55am, a 85-year-old woman failed to give way on Albert St and crashed into a Holden Commodore on Palmerin St, which was being driven by a 42-year-old man.

The woman drove into the front of the commodore and spun around, hitting the car again from the back.

Police have issued a fine to the driver.

Fire services and paramedics were also at the scene but left as soon as it was discovered neither driver had suffered any injuries.
