Warwick business honours Dolly with sweet hearts
WHILE people and businesses all over Warwick today donned blue in memory of Dolly, the 14-year-old Scots PGC student who tragically took her own life last week, one Palmerin St store came up with a special way to add a little cheer to Warwick's sombre mood.
Sarah Grant, owner of Lux & Bloss, along with local artist and photographer Teilah Skye McKelvey and their children joined forces to remember Dolly in a sweet way.
On a Facebook post for her business Mrs Grant wrote,
"When @teilahskye_ sends you a text this morning saying 'I have an idea!' You know it's going to be something good!
Our kids combined forces and cut out blue hearts and attached these to a Chupa Chup to gift to passers-by in honour of Dolly Everett.
Big smiles all round, as they inject some kindness into the world on this day of sadness. 💙💙 @ Warwick, Queensland.”
