What to do around Warwick this weekend

GET out and about this weekend because there's plenty to see and do around Warwick.

Rock out at a free concert or watch a pro fight night right here in town, there's something for everyone.

Market time

GRAB a basket and head down to Leslie Park to pick up some goodies at the Warwick Uber Markets.

There will be a range of knick knacks and homemade treasures to peruse, including carved wooden ornaments, crystals and clothing.

Slime Obsession will also be at the markets to entertain children with classes and slime for purchase.

Free concert

PARK Beats is arriving in Warwick tonight as part of Youth Week.

The free outdoor concert will feature local musicians playing a mix of acoustic and modern songs.

An air guitar competition will also be held, so bring the best Guitar Hero moves you can muster.

Bring a picnic blanket or chair to sit on. Refreshments will be provided.

Orienteering day

SOUTHERN Downs youth are invited to give orienteering a try at Leslie Dam.

It will be an opportunity to learn about the sport as well as try it first hand on an easy but fun course.

As part of Youth Week, the event could ignite a new passion.

WHERE: Leslie Dam Rd, 1.8km from the Cunningham Highway.

Fight night

SOAK up the action of a professional fight night with Kyle "Tank" Teer set to take on Jesse Travers.

Teer is a local tradie who will step in to the ring for the last time against Travers, a young professional from Brisbane.

Ten corporate fights are also listed on the card.

State championships

REV heads should make their way to Morgan Park Raceway this weekend.

Round two of the 2018 CAMS Queensland Circuit Racing Championships will be fought out at the local track.
