1: Warwick Blue Light
THE Warwick Blue Light Disco will be held tonight at Leslie Park. Designed for students in Year 9 and below, the event is a great opportunity to get together to celebrate the upcoming end of 2018. Children under six years of age must have parental supervision and all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at drop-off and pick-up. The event is fully supervised and drug and alcohol free.

2: Christmas dance
THE Stanthorpe Blue Light Disco will hold its annual Christmas party at St Paul's Anglican Church Hall from 6-8pm tonight. It is open to all primary school-aged children. There will be a canteen with hot food, snacks and drinks, a monster raffle, and parents are welcome to stay. It is a fully supervised, drug- and alcohol-free event.

3: Play with pottery
IF YOUR kids are feeling creative head along to the Warwick Potters Association Children's Pottery Class tomorrow. It is suitable for young people aged 10-16 and all materials and tuition is included in the cover charge. All skill levels are welcome. The class will run for two hours and there are two time slots available.

4: Party with the girls from the QCWA
Join the Mt Colliery QCWA for its annual Community Christmas Get Together tomorrow. Everyone is welcome. There'll be plenty of food and you can bring your own drinks. The group is excited to have Luke Costello providing the entertainment and there are reports Santa will make an appearance.

5: Meet Santa
OLD St Nick is due to arrive at Rose City Shoppingworld at 11am tomorrow, ready to hear all those Christmas wishes and pose for photos. He is expected to arrive flanked by the Beautiful Snowman and the Marching Notes Band.

6: Homestead markets
GLENGALLAN Homestead will host its Christmas market on Sunday. Get in early and sort all the Christmas shopping in one handy location, set among the homestead's lovingly restored gardens. There'll be a range of handicrafts, bespoke toys, jams, home-cooking and woodcraft.

7: Parkrun for fun
WARWICK parkrun is on each Saturday from 7am at Queens Park. The starting point is below the rugby union field. New runners/walkers need to print out a barcode from the parkrun website for the purpose of recording times. There are no winners in parkrun, only first finishers. The emphasis is on improving personal best times.

8: Golf day
THE Warwick Golf Club has its Tradie Christmas Golf Day today. Late team nominations will be accepted at Sam Eaves' Golf Shop.

COST: $45 including a hamburger.
9: Watch the cricket
ROUND 6 will be played in Warwick cricket this weekend. Victoria Hill will play Maryvale at Allora tomorrow. The Slade Park games are Wheatvale and Sovereign tomorrow, Colts and Allora on Sunday.
Maryvale currently leads the Condamine Cup points table.

10: Harvest a tree
FORGET that smelly plastic tree you have kept crammed in the corner of your linen cupboard, forget its tangled limbs and exposed wire frame. Start a new family tradition with a visit to the Granite Belt Christmas Farm this weekend to buy a real tree. Along with the annual tree harvest there'll be lots of kids activities throughout the day and an all day barbecue. St Joseph's School Choir will perform Christmas carols at 10am on the Saturday.

11: Car boot sale
THEY say one person's trash is another's treasure. Well put that theory to the test at Warwick Christian College's car boot sale. Get along to the school tomorrow, rummage through a huge range of the knick-knacks, oddities and pre-loved clothes.
