Winger scores three tries yet again for his TRL team
RUGBY LEAGUE: Warwick and Wattles are again equal first in A-grade in the Toowoomba Rugby League competition.
After loosing to Brothers last Sunday in their first loss of the season, Warwick rebounded with a 64-6 victory against Pittsworth at Father Ranger Oval this Sunday.
In one of the shocks of the season, Wattles went down 51-28 in A grade to Gatton at Gatton.
Warwick coach Matt Grew said he was happy with the way his side completed their sets in the second half.
"Coedie Tandy had one of his better games for the club and Joe Fuimaono was exceptional,” he said.
One of the Cowboys tries was when hooker Ben Sullivan passed to Fuimaono who found fullback Craig Donn for a try which took the Warwick score to 60.
Warwick winger Mitch Watson scored yet another treble of tries for the Cowboys.
"It was good to get back to winning. We were terrible last week and scrappy in the first half against Pittsworth,” he said.
Watson has played centre, wing and fullback this season but said it didn't matter where he played.
"I am just happy to be out on the field in A grade,” he said.
In second division, Gatton defeated Stanthorpe 10-6.
In the under-18 game, Warwick won 30-20 against Pittsworth while Gatton defeated Wattles 76-0.
Warwick scored a 24-18 win against Pittsworth in reserve grade. Gatton defeated Wattles 18-12.
